RISE, a North East charity, is in search of volunteers from Wallsend to check out electrical bicycles from native firm Journey Electrical for six months.
Seventeen residents of Wallsend who at present commute to Newcastle for work are invited to swap automobiles and public transport for an electrical bike in a bid to offer a more healthy and extra environmentally pleasant different.
